Description

NITROGEN PSA GENERATOR NGO
Based on the specifications of the Nitrogen produced, the NGO series meets the needs of different industrial sectors, from the food industry and wineries to the pharmaceutical industry, from metal fabrication to chemistry. In detail the complete list of the most frequent applications:
• Pest control and fire prevention in silos and food warehouses
• Bottling and tapping of beer, wine and juices
• Inertization of flammable products
• Inertization of chemical and pharmaceutical products
• Spray metallization and sintering of metal powders
• Cleaning and mixing of molten metal baths (e.g. Aluminum)
• Re-flow and wave soldering of PCBs
• Food storage and packaging (MAP)
• Laser cutting of metals
• Heat treatments of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Spray painting
• Winemaking

The Nitrogen generator requires external FGO and FGT series filters, together with a DGO series dryer, mandatory and necessary to eliminate particulate matter and residual water and oil particles from the air supplied to your NGO generator. The air filtration level at the generator inlet must comply with class 1.4.1 of the ISO 8573-1:2010 standard (< 0.01 micron/DP +3°C / < 0.003 mg/m3).
The supply air reaches the first adsorber at the correct speed and pressure. Here, inside the molecular carbon sieve, the separation of nitrogen from other gases (oxygen, CO, CO2, etc.) occurs through selective surface adsorption. Subsequently, the nitrogen produced passes from the adsorber to the external nitrogen tank where, once analyzed and validated for purity, it passes to the distribution line towards the final point of use.
At the same time, the second adsorber is purified, releasing oxygen and other exhaust gases into the atmosphere through a special silencer. A pressure balancing phase follows between the two adsorbers; then, the process starts again with reverse adsorbers. After each cycle, the adsorption columns alternate between pressurization and regeneration (PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorption process).
